The Meet and Eat Classes will be using the "Good Inside" Curriculum. "Good Inside" is a book written by Dr. Becky Kennedy, a clinical psychologist named the "The Millennial Parenting Whisperer" by Time Magazine. Her book was a #1 bestseller on the New York Times list, and she has amassed over 1.7 million followers on Instagram. The Good Inside philosophy teaches us that all kids are good inside, but sometimes have a hard time on the inside and show it with frustrating behaviors for parents. Join us on Tuesdays to learn "actionable strategies that will help parents move from uncertainty and self-blame to confidence and sturdy leadership." We will cover topics including sibling dynamics, deeply feeling kids, screen time battles, listening, refusal, power struggles, whining, tantrums, defiance and more.

Topics:

Sept. 3 and 10-Parenting Kids with Anxiety and Worry

Oct. 1 and 22(note dates)-Confidence from the Inside Out: How to build long-lasting self-confidnece in kids

Nov. 5 and 12-Managing Screen Time

Jan. 7 and 14-Sibling Dynamics: Conflict resolution and building strong relationships
